Gina Spinelli, RYT 230

Hi there! I’m Gina. I’m a Lisbon-based yoga instructor, passionate about sharing how we can reconnect to our bodies and ourselves through mindful movement.

In roughly 4 years of professional experience in designing and leading yoga classes, I’ve been lucky enough to have taught throughout the United States, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, and beyond, honing a style that’s rooted in vinyasa with a light emphasis on holds (what I like to call slow vinyasa).

In 2019, I completed my first 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in the mountains of Georgia. In January 2024, I graduated from an additional 230-hour YTT. I’ve gained in-depth knowledge about postures, breathing techniques, meditation, and the philosophical elements of yoga. Though it wasn’t necessarily my intention to start teaching, I quickly realized that I wanted to share and celebrate the power of yoga with others.

Yoga continues to make a significant impact on my life, allowing me to have a better grip on my awareness, patience, and confidence. I especially appreciate the way yoga takes us out of our minds and into our bodies, helping us to shift perspectives, and see things through fresh eyes. This has become a focal point for my classes and also led me to co-found Sol Creative Retreats, a retreat company designed to help women reconnect with their creativity through cooking, art, and yoga.

I’m so grateful for where yoga has taken me, and for where it will lead me. I look forward to connecting with you on and off the mat.
